Welcome!
Hello #FornoBravoFamily :). Every season is a new opportunity to marvel at the spectacular beauty around us. By now many of you will have witnessed the trees shed their green color for majestic yellow, red and golden hues. This transition from warm summer days to cool fall nights naturally draws us to the warmth of the fire and the comfort of family and friends.
As we move into the cooler months, we encourage you to share how you and yours are putting your wood fired oven to use with new seasonal recipes. It’s amazing to see the inspiration spread throughout our growing community via our galleries on our website, Instagram & Facebook.
Here's what's inside this month's newsletter:
1. A new mini-series by The Fauxmartha featuring a fun wood fired video.
2. A delicious wood fired video by Eric Wilson of FoodTerra.
3. Vito Romani's The Bird Is The Word recipe.
4. And last, but certainly not least, an incredible PizzaQuest Webisode with John Arena you truly won't want to miss.
Again, if you have any questions at any time, please don't hesitate to ask us online or via phone at (800) 407-5119. For those of you whom are still looking, feel free to use our selection wizard to find the pizza oven that is perfect 'for you'.
Cheers,
The Forno Bravo Team
The Fauxmartha Wood Fired Mini-Series
The Fauxmartha will be making wood-fired pizzas in the dead of winter (in Minnesota no less) and so can you! As she explains on her blog, it’s all about having the right gear, right down to the firewood, and of course a bluetooth speaker so that you can transport yourself to Napoli with a little “Mambo Italiano” radio. In case you’re curious, she went with the Primavera 70 for her outdoor oven!

Peter Reinhart: This is a wonderful one-on-one with John Arena, the beloved “pizza guy” from Metro Pizza in Las Vegas, and a regular contributor here on Pizza Quest. I’m going to let John do all the talking here, as his sincere and thoughtful description of the life of a pizza maker says it all. We have more webisodes with him coming up, so enjoy this opening segment.
