Super Isol Specification Sheet |
 |
Description
Super Isol is ideal for use as an insulator underneath pizza ovens and brick ovens. It is a high strength, high efficiency Calcium Silicate board originally designed for industrial applications, such as aluminum melting and holding furnaces. A 2" thick Super Isol board reduces the 800F cooking floor of a pizza oven to roughly 170F at equilibrium, making it roughly twice as efficient as pure Vermiculite board and even more efficient than castable Vermiculite and Portland cement mixes.
Properties
- Easy to install and to work with
- Light weight; easy to ship and handle
- Easy to cut and glue
- High compression strength to support pizza ovens and brick ovens
