Forno Bravo has partnered with Simpson Manufacturing (NYSE: SSD) DuraVent to provide its DuraTech chimney system, a state-of-the-art UL103HT steel chimney system, to our pizza oven customers. The DuraTech system is directly connected to our pizza ovens, offering users both ease of installation and the security of using a UL listed, high-temperature, 2100°certified chimney. The Simpson DuraTech family uses thermal tech blanket insulation, encased between dual walls of stainless steel, to offer the optimum in safety and performance.
The thermal tech blanket insulation keeps the outer wall of the chimney cool, while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft performance. Encased between dual walls of stainless steel, the thermal tech blanket insulation is locked into position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulation.
Forno Bravo offers two sizes of DuraVent chimney system -- 6" for 80cm and 90cm ovens, and 8" for 100cm, 110cm and 120cm ovens. A typical installation includes an anchor plate, which connects directly to your Forno Bravo oven, along with one or more sections of pipe, and a spark arrestor. Outdoor installations should specify stainless steel, while indoor installations can use the less expensive galvanized steel chimney.
The DuraTech chimney system can be packed inside your Forno Bravo pizza oven shipping container. |
