Forno Bravo and Intertek-ETL Semko have reached an agreement to certify the Forno Bravo Casa, Premio, Ristorante, Modena W, and Modena Twister W Series wood-fired pizza ovens to the UL2162 standard for Wood-Fired Baking Ovens-Refractory Type, and the Modena G and Modena Twister G Series gas-fired ovens to the Standard ANSI Z83.11-2002 for Gas Food Service Equipment.
These are the most recently developed standard for wood-burning ovens, and the UL2162 standard has superceded the older UL737 standard for Fireplace Stoves -- which is no longer valid for wood-fired pizza ovens.
To date, we have had two successful factory inspections, covering each product line. The appropriate Forno Bravo ovens have been shipped to the Intertek laboratory in the U.S. for testing, and we are waiting on those results. We are on our way.
